Tragedy in Nasarawa: Gunmen Abduct Wife 13 Days After Wedding.
A tragic incident unfolded late Wednesday night in Akaleku village, Obi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, as gunmen stormed the home of a newly-wedded couple, killing the husband and abducting his wife.
According to eyewitness accounts, the armed attackers broke into the residence around 11 p.m., shot the groom before whisking his wife away to an unknown location.
The couple, Mr. and Mrs. Alu Anzaku, had tied the knot on April 12—just 13 days before the horrifying attack.
At the time of filing this report, there has been no word on the whereabouts or condition of the abducted bride. Family members and sympathisers remain in deep distress.
